She is focused on helping companies create new experiences rooted in a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors and desires. She oversees the integration of user insights into the product development process and believes that the best products are created when both designers and engineers care about their users and know them (no, “really” know them).

    Diego is a Spanish entrepreneur and product designer currently working as Head of Mobile at Lonely Planet, and is part of the team responsible for Guides, the latest mobile product of the company. Prior to that, Diego co-founded TouristEye, a recognized tech travel company acquired by Lonely Planet in 2013, which was part of the 500 Startups program back in 2012. Diego has built digital products used by millions of people all over the world and has a broad experience in the mobile and travel industries. He’s also a startup advisor/investor and an active digital nomad.

At Intrepid Jim has brought Design Thinking to the forefront and helped grow Intrepid’s design team into one of the best in Boston. He has plenty of experience with creative direction, design, and user-experience. Previously, Jim was an award-winning Creative Director at the Peabody Essex Museum. His work has been included in many presentations and articles. Jim is a composer, educator, museum veteran, and synth fanatic.
