Call for Papers Closed
2019 will be the 9th successive year that we have run iOSDevUK in Aberystwyth. We have around 30 speakers each year and 200 attendees. Some of the conference is in twin-tracks, which means that we can have a wider range of talks than can be done in a single track conference while still having things happening that should interest all attendees. We welcome talks on all aspects of iOS development from very technical Swift talks, through business-oriented talks, to UI/UX talks and social issues. We aim to be a community conference that anyone can afford to attend, with an early-bird fee of £160 for three days of content, and reasonable cheap accommodation.
Benefits for speakers
Speakers receiver free attendance at the conference, plus three nights’ accommodation in Aberystwyth, plus attendance at the exclusive Speakers’ Dinner. We do not pay speakers’ travel costs.
How to apply
We are calling for speakers now (end of November 2018), and hope to have sorted a first list of speakers by the end of January 2019. However, we will accept talks as we go along, so the longer you leave it to propose a talk, the more likely it is that we will not have space left, so don’t leave it to the last minute ( we already have five great talks proposed before putting out the call for speakers).
If you are interested, just fill out the Speaking Proposal Form.
