Join us for an evening of knowledge sharing for women in data science!

Women in Data Science (WiDS) began at Stanford University and has since expanded around the world. WiDS aims to inspire participants worldwide about exciting areas of research and application in data science by highlighting role models, to educate all participants—regardless of gender—about the latest research and technologies, challenges, and future trends and to support women in the field of data science—whether as practitioners in industry or researchers and educators in academia.

Keynote: Diversity and Inclusion in Practice: Events for Women in Data Science

Did you ever wonder why do we have professional events and communities for women? After all, aren’t “regular” events also “for women”? Or maybe what makes an event “for women” when it’s open for everyone to participate? Noa organises Berlin communities for women in Data Science since 2017 and hopes that after this short talk, you will all join or start your own feminist professional community.
